"Steel Magnolias" at Lawrence Welk Resort Theatre

Sunday, January 10 (1 day)

The Welk Resort in Escondido is so rooted in a rich musical heritage that you’ll experience only the best in live entertainment! Steel Magnolias is a touching play that illustrates how the lives of six distinctly different women interweave via the small town gossip that shadows the unending cycle of birth, marriage and death. The play became an off-Broadway sensation in 1987 and found even greater success as a motion picture starring Julia Roberts, Shirley MacLaine and others. Welcome it back to the stage in the intimate Welk Theatre and share in its love, laughter and tears once again. Enjoy an included lunch preceding the show at a private country club in Escondido. While you dine in a serene atmosphere, you’ll enjoy spectacular golf course views and great service.
