| There’s nothing better than Fall with crisp colorful foliage and succulent apples, and there’s no better place than Julian to get those fresh apples and apple pie. This early 1900’s mining town is a mountain-high retreat (elevation 4,200 ft.) known for its clean air, quaint shopping, hometown restaurants, homemade apple pie and cider. Enjoy time at your leisure to shop and have lunch on your own in this quaint town. While in Julian, see an optional Melodrama performance. For almost 50 years, the Triangle Club, a women’s group that formed to support Julian’s school children, has been performing with all the actors coming from the community. The audience is encouraged to participate by booing the villain and cheering on the hero. Between acts will be a variety show featuring local talent and the famous Triangle Club Chorus known as Julian Floozies as seen on Huell Howser’s California Gold!
