| Pasadena has always been known for its sophisticated style, and this tour gives you the opportunity to discover this style first-hand! We begin with an exploration of a National Historic Landmark with a style all its own. A docent-guided tour of the Gamble House will showcase this outstanding example of American Arts and Crafts-style architecture. The house and furnishings were designed by Greene and Greene in 1908 for David and Mary Gamble of the Proctor and Gamble Co. Our day continues with an included lunch at Bistro 561, the upscale restaurant of the world-class Pasadena Culinary School. This gourmet lunch prepared and served by the students of the Institute includes a choice of appetizer and entrée, and dessert. An included stop at the gorgeous Langham, Huntington Hotel. Required: flat walking shoes to protect the floors of the Gamble House. |
