Become familiar with port operations, see shipbuilding and repair facilities and learn what is being done to protect the bay and tidelands. Visit the Tenth Avenue Marine Terminal where giant cargo ships import and export refrigerated cargo including fruit, vegetables, meat, fertilizer, cement and forest products. Visit the National City Terminal, the most advanced vehicle import and export facility on the West Coast which handles more than 500,000 cars annually and is the primary port of entry of Audi, Bentley, Honda, Isuzu, Mazda, Porsche, Volkswagen, Hyundai and Kia.
