It’s that ghoulish time of year for our popular San Diego “fright-seeing” tour to discover fascinating historic sites that are documented as haunted. First, enjoy time at leisure for browsing and an early dinner on your own at a variety of eateries in San Diego’s historic Old Town – while it was the location of the first European settlement in California and once was San Diego’s “downtown,” it is still the historic heart of the city. Then, a theatrical storyteller will board our motorcoach and lead the way on a two-hour adventure that has the perfect blend of suspenseful tales, rich San Diego history, and spooky fun…sure to ‘raise your spirits’. Your guide will recount ghostly happenings of the past…and of the present…as we disembark at several sites and learn about the people who lived there, who died there, and who haunt there today! See the Victorian mansion of Villa Montezuma, enter the Horton Grand Hotel, walk through the historic cemetery in Old Town and see the Whaley House – considered by the Travel Channel to be “America’s Most Haunted” house! We’ll also go inside the Davis-Horton House, one of the oldest and most haunted houses in the Gaslamp. This ghostly adventure will be so fun and entertaining, you’ll be dying for more! This tour involves moderate walking. |
