| It’s Christmas time in Griffith Park and this fun and festive tour showcases several of its greatest holiday experiences. First, we’ll enjoy an included early dinner (approximately 3:30 p.m.) with choice of entrée, dessert and the “world’s greatest garlic cheese bread” at the beloved Smoke House. This legendary restaurant built in 1946 adjacent to Warner Bros. Studio is still frequented by television and film stars and epitomizes “Old Hollywood.” This evening, we continue to Griffith Park and experience the magical Holiday Light Festival Train Ride. This long-standing holiday tradition features a 10-minute ride through festive scenes decorated with thousands of holiday lights along the 1-mile loop at Griffith Park & Southern Railroad. It’s a perfect holiday experience for kids and an even better one for kids at heart! We top off the evening at the L.A. Zoo and its L.A. Zoo Lights: Animals Aglow, a magical holiday light experience combining spectacular sets and lighting design within the Zoo’s enchanting environment. L.A.’s brightest winter tradition features an immersive landscape filled with spectacular lantern sculptures of animals among blooming flowers, towering trees and more for a wildlife-centered experience that’s as inspiring as it is breathtaking. The Zoo’s live animals are not on view during this nighttime holiday experience. This is an outdoor, nighttime event – please be sure to dress warmly and prepare for moderate walking. |
